Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing and using the Spreeblick Studio booking platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Booking Types

Spreeblick Studio offers three types of bookings:

• Stay: Overnight accommodation bookings, minimum 2 nights. Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00 unless otherwise agreed.
• Production: Photo and video shoots, film productions. Minimum 4 hours booking. Includes 2-hour buffer before and after for setup/breakdown.
• Event: Workshops, meetings, private events. Minimum 4 hours booking. Includes 3-hour buffer before and after for setup/breakdown.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. By making a booking, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

House Rules

All guests must adhere to the following house rules:

• No smoking inside the property
• No parties or events without prior approval
• Respect noise levels, especially after 22:00
• Maximum occupancy must be respected
• No pets without prior approval
• Leave the space clean and tidy
• Report any damages immediately

Payment Terms

Payment and billing details:

• Currency: All prices are in EUR (€)
• Payment timing: Full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation
• Payment methods: We accept major credit cards and other payment methods through our payment provider
• Invoices: Digital invoices are sent via email after payment confirmation
• Pricing: Prices include base rate, cleaning fee, and service fee. Taxes will be added where applicable

Price breakdown includes:

• Base rate (nightly for stays, hourly for productions/events)
• Cleaning fee
• Service fee (12-15% depending on booking type)
• Applicable taxes (VAT/local taxes where required)

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for all bookings:

• Amount: €200 (stays), €300 (productions), €400 (events)
• Authorization: The deposit is pre-authorized (held) on your payment method at booking
• Release: If no damages or violations occur, the hold is released within 7 days after checkout
• Charges: The deposit may be charged (fully or partially) to cover damages, extra cleaning, or rule violations
• Disputes: You will be notified before any deposit charges are processed

Cancellation & Changes

Cancellation policy (prototype):

• Free cancellation: Full refund if cancelled more than 14 days before check-in/event date
• Partial refund: 50% refund if cancelled 7-14 days before
• No refund: No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before
• Booking changes: Subject to availability and may incur fees

Liability & Damages

Guest liability:

• Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay/booking
• Damages exceeding the security deposit will be billed separately
• Guests must report any pre-existing damage immediately upon arrival

Host liability:

• We strive to ensure the property is safe and as described
• We are not liable for loss or damage to guest property
• In case of issues, we will work to resolve them promptly

Limitation of liability: Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for your booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Intellectual Property

For production bookings, guests retain rights to content created. However, we reserve the right to use limited photos/footage of the space for marketing purposes with prior approval. Commercial use of property images requires written consent.

Privacy & Data

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in Berlin courts. We encourage resolving issues through direct communication first.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
